I noticed the picture of the camp along Wooley Creek. In 1978 I stayed at Anthony Milne camp. There was a nice rock stove. The camp was at a junction of two streams. I recall the stove having a rock vent. A couple years ago I passed by in transit from Little Elk Lake to Wild Lake. I couldn't find the camp and didn't see a rock stove. Does anyone know what happened to it? Also, I'm heading in shortly from Lovers' Camp going over to Ukonom Lake via Paradise Lake and Sulpher Srings trailhead. I'm thinking of trying the Johnson Hunting Grounds trail rather than going via the Granite Lakes. Questions: 1. How's the trail from Sulpher Springs trailhead to the Johnson Hunting Grounds trailhead? Its outside the wilderness boundary. Is the trail hard to follow? 2. Is water available on the Johnson Hunting Grounds trail?

I think the lake in the picture is below the ridge above Tom Taylor cabin on the trail to Hancock lake, and below the restored lookout

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful images with the world! I visited the Marble Mountains many years ago on my honeymoon, and met a black bear at Campbell Lake there! I'm smiling to see the picture of the black bear you photographed, and wondering if there's any relation to the bear we met! We were amazed that even bear-bagging the backpacks isn't totally effective... bears are extremely intelligent, and this one figured out it could just barely reach the backpacks from it's tree-hugging position, sending them spinning around and around as we watched in amazement from the ground! Thanks again for everything!
