The men here at Nelson County S.O. are saddened to hear of Don\'s passing. He has taken our guys out fishing many times. All of us had fun and caught fish with Don. He will be missed by many. Fair winds and following seas Captain. |

I found Captain Bannister on the internet, my husband an I an four of my relatives fished with the Captain for many years. He was just like family to us, a wonderful man. It was a total of six hours drive for us,but we all loved it. He will truly be missed. My Prayers to his family, and friends that loved him as well. I will always remember \"My Captain, Don Banister\" |

Capt\'n Don \"Boo\" Bannister loved fishing the Chesapeake Bay and a pulling a good joke/prank from time to time of which I was the brunt a couple times. Sitting here looking a picture of the original 25\' Sea Hawk RESTIN\' EASY with Donna & \"Spud\" Mathews holding up a nice Flounder at the CELL on May 29,1998. RIP Capt\'n Don. Tight lines and good fishing my friend. |

Such a loss of a great fisherman who loved his yellow boat and putting his party on the fish. |
